What is abduco?

abduco provides session management, enabling programs to be run independently from their controlling terminal. It allows programs to be detached, run in the background, and later reattached. Together with dvtm, abduco offers a simple and clean alternative to tmux or screen. Abduco is similar to dtach but is a separate implementation that is actively maintained, free of legacy code, and includes additional features. Abduco has a cleaner and more robust implementation, and is distributed under the ISC license
