What is Abnormal Security?

Abnormal is a cloud-based email security platform that utilizes behavioral data science to detect and mitigate novel email threats that evade traditional secure email gateways. Unlike legacy solutions relying on rules and policies, Abnormal takes a fundamentally different approach by developing an organizational baseline of "known good" behavior across employees and external contacts. The platform integrates with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 via API, analyzing over 45,000 signals to identify any email messages deviating from this baseline, which are then automatically remediated.
