What is AirDrop?

AirDrop is a versatile file-sharing solution that enables seamless wireless transfer of a wide range of content, including documents, photos, videos, websites, and map locations, between nearby Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, and Macs. The process is remarkably simple users can share files by simply dragging and dropping them onto a recipient's contact photo within the Finder or on their device. Once the transfer request is accepted, the file is securely delivered to the recipient's Downloads folder
