What is Amazon SNS (Simple Notification Service)?
Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) is a push messaging service that enables sending notifications to mobile devices, email recipients, and other distributed services. It provides a fast, flexible, and fully managed solution for delivering individual messages or broadcasting messages to large numbers of recipients With SNS, users can send notifications to a variety of devices, including Apple, Google, Fire OS, and Windows devices, as well as to Android devices in China via Baidu Cloud Push. The service also supports sending SMS messages to mobile device users in the US and email recipients worldwide. Beyond these endpoints, SNS can deliver messages to Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), AWS Lambda functions, or any HTTP endpoint
