What is ApateDNS?

ApateDNS is a tool that enables users to control DNS responses through an intuitive graphical user interface. It functions as a DNS server that intercepts and spoofs DNS responses, redirecting them to a user-specified IP address. The application listens on UDP port 53 on the local machine and automatically configures the local DNS settings to use the localhost as the DNS server. When the user exits the tool, it restores the original DNS settings, providing a seamless and convenient way to manage DNS responses
