What is ArmorPaint?
The Armor Paint software is a standalone application dedicated to 3D texture painting using Physically-Based Rendering (PBR) techniques. It is entirely GPU-based, offering a smooth 4K painting experience even on moderate hardware, and seamless support for up to 20K texture painting on high-end graphics cards. Designed from the ground up to leverage the power of the GPU, Armor Paint provides users with a fast and efficient workflow for creating complex, fully procedural materials using a node-based system inspired by the Cycles render engine found in Blender. In addition to materials, the software also allows users to create custom painting patterns, shapes, and procedural brushes through the use of specialized brush nodes. Armor Paint is available for both Windows and Linux operating systems, and the software binaries can be obtained through a one-time donation of approximately 16, or by building the application from the provided GitHub source code
