What is auCDtect Task Manager?
The auCDtect Task Manager is a free graphical user interface tool that enables users to verify if their lossless audio files have been upconverted from a "lossy" file format. The tool utilizes external third-party decoders to unpack the files being tested into a temporary directory, and then the authenticity of the unpacked WAV files is assessed by the external auCDtect tool. The progress of this process is displayed in real-time, and upon completion, auCDtect Task Manager generates a report, digitally signs it, and saves it to a file. The tool also has the capability to always verify the authenticity of its own signatures
