What is AutoDrum?

AutoDrum is a free, open-source software application designed to provide automatic drum performance capabilities. Useful for both practice and composition, the software offers a range of features to enhance the user's musical experience. With 13 preset rhythm patterns available, users can also create and integrate their own custom patterns developed using a MIDI sequencer. The tempo can be adjusted at any time during playback, and the application can be synchronized with external devices in slave mode. A built-in mixer function allows users to control the velocity level and mute individual drum instruments. The software also offers synchronized start and stop functionality, enabling seamless integration with a connected MIDI keyboard. AutoDrum supports the reception and transmission of MIDI timing clocks for synchronization purposes. Installation is straightforward, with users only needing to extract the zip file to execute the application. The user interface and documentation are available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and the application is compliant with the Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8.1 operating system themes, as well as Unicode standards
