What is Automne?
Automne is an open-source content management system (CMS) that operates on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) architecture. The CMS provides a user-friendly, WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) environment for website editing, enabling users to modify content without extensive technical expertise. Developers can quickly integrate new modules via the integrated app generator, which allows them to add functionality without requiring in-depth PHP knowledge, using only XML configuration. Automne includes a built-in validation workflow and the ability to manage groups and user roles, making it suitable for both extranet and intranet applications. The CMS supports the management of multiple websites on different domains and in multiple languages. The Automne source code is hosted on the Launchpad platform, allowing for community-driven development and contributions
