What is Autoruns?

The Autoruns application provides a comprehensive view of the programs and services configured to start automatically when your Windows system boots up or when a user logs in. This tool delves deep into various system locations, including startup folders, Run and RunOnce Registry keys, and other areas, to uncover all the executables that are set to launch during the boot process. The "show non-Microsoft only" feature allows you to focus specifically on third-party applications that have been added to your system, giving you a clear understanding of the auto-starting programs that may be running in the background. Autoruns presents this information in an organized and easy-to-navigate format, empowering users to gain visibility into and take control of their system's startup behavior
