What is Aves?

An Android app built with Flutter, Aves serves as a comprehensive gallery and metadata explorer. It offers support for a wide range of media formats, including common types like JPEGs and MP4s, as well as more specialized file types such as multi-page TIFFs, SVGs, and old AVIs. The app scans your media collection to identify advanced features like motion photos, panoramas (photo spheres), 360-degree videos, and GeoTIFF files. Navigation and search are central to the Aves experience, allowing users to seamlessly transition between albums, photos, tags, and maps. The app is deeply integrated with the Android platform, providing features like app shortcuts and global search handling from API 19 (KitKat) to API 31 (Android S). Aves also functions as a versatile media viewer and picker, offering a comprehensive solution for managing and exploring your digital media
