    What is AWS AppSync?

AWS AppSync is a fully managed service that enables developers and application owners to design, build, and operate production-grade GraphQL APIs at scale, cost-effectively. With a few clicks, users can create a GraphQL API within minutes and realize up to 250,000 queries per month at no charge. API data is extracted from a variety of data sources, including Amazon DynamoDB, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Elasticsearch Service, Simple Email Service (SES), or AWS Lambda, as well as internal and external APIs. By using the AWS AppSync API to store both types of data in one place, users can get a centralized data source to build performant and scalable applications
