What is AWS CodeCommit?

AWS CodeCommit is a fully-managed source control service that allows businesses to host secure and highly scalable private Git repositories. The platform enables organizations to securely store and manage a wide range of content, from source code to binaries, on a unified interface. Administrators can seamlessly collaborate with team members on code repositories, configure access permissions, and monitor activities in real-time. Operators can interact with the source files directly through their preferred Git graphical tools. The service also integrates with other AWS services, such as Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB, to provide versioning and backup capabilities, as well as Amazon SNS for event notifications
