What is AWS IoT?

AWS IoT is a cloud-based platform that connects devices and facilitates secure interaction with cloud applications and other devices. It supports billions of devices and trillions of messages, processing and routing those messages to AWS endpoints and other devices reliably and securely. AWS IoT enables applications to keep track of and communicate with all devices, even when they are not connected. It provides easy integration with AWS services like Lambda, Kinesis, S3, Machine Learning, and DynamoDB to build IoT applications that gather, process, analyze, and act on data generated by connected devices, without requiring infrastructure management
