What is BarTunes?
BarTunes is a menu bar application that enables intuitive control of the iTunes player on your Mac. Users can access core playback functions, including play/pause, skip forward, and jump back, directly from the menu bar without needing to switch to the main iTunes interface. The app also provides options to display the album artwork and song/artist/album metadata in the menu bar, allowing for at-a-glance visibility of the currently playing media. Additionally, BarTunes offers the capability to rate the current song, providing a seamless way to manage your music library preferences
