What is BitNami Application Stacks?

BitNami Stacks provide a streamlined way to deploy a variety of popular open source software applications. Each BitNami Stack includes the target open source application along with all the necessary supporting software, such as Apache, MySQL, PHP, or Ruby. Users can choose from different deployment formats, including Native Installer, Virtual Machine Image, or Cloud Image, and simply run the installation wizard or start the image to have the new application up and running in minutes. The Native Installers for the Stacks are packaged using BitRocks multiplatform installer, making the process straightforward. BitNami also offers the ability to download a base Stack and then use BitNami Modules to install additional applications on top of a single infrastructure stack. Virtual Machine Images and Cloud Images are available for most Linux-based stacks as well, providing further flexibility in deployment options
