In Blazing Souls, players embark on a non-linear tactical role-playing adventure where they can progress through the game and its captivating story in their desired order. Developed by Idea Factory, Blazing Souls was initially released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006 and later ported to the Xbox 360 in 2007 and the PlayStation Portable in 2009, with the latter version published in North America by Aksys Games in 2010 and in Europe by Rising Star Games in 2012 The game's protagonist is Zelos, a young contractor who stumbles upon a mysterious magical stone and embarks on a quest to battle the Human Genomes, creatures created by God to replace mankind.
