What is Board800?

Board800 is an interactive whiteboard application that leverages Red5 as the back-end media server and Flash (.swf) for the client-side front-end. The application empowers users with a range of features, including a multi-user shared whiteboard that enables simultaneous access and drawing capabilities. Users can create and work independently on an unlimited number of pages, all of which are visible to all connected users. The application supports rich text editing, allowing users to seamlessly incorporate external images and save the entire work as a .png file. Addressing connectivity challenges, Board800 automatically detects issues and facilitates re-synchronization to ensure uninterrupted collaboration. Users can further benefit from the application's layered shape management, which enables intuitive drag and drop functionality, as well as the ability to send shapes to the back or bring them to the front with a right-click. Additionally, the application offers the flexibility to lock toolbox items, such as the freehand drawing tool, and leverage transparency support for the created shapes, along with customizable color options for both rich text and shapes
