What is Calypso?
Calypso is a cross-platform file-sharing client that utilizes the anonymous MUTE network to protect user privacy. Developed using C++ and Qt, it is compatible with both Windows and Linux, with potential for further portability. Calypso's key features include multi-source downloads, download resuming, point-to-point traffic encryption, and a multi-language user interface. Its two-level search system allows users to first search by keywords and then refine results using regular expressions. The platform's "swarming" capability enables the retrieval of file portions from multiple sources, ensuring file completion even if the original source becomes unavailable. Additionally, Calypso supports multiple simultaneous downloads and uploads, as well as the management of multiple shared folders. The application's graphical user interface is built using the Qt4 toolkit, offering support for custom styles and stylesheets
