What is Classic Add-Ons Archive?
The Classic Add-ons Archive is a comprehensive catalog of over 93,000 versions of 19,450 Firefox add-ons created by 14,274 developers over the past 15 years. This collection preserves the rich ecosystem of classic Firefox extensions developed using the XUL/XPCOM technology prior to Mozilla's shift towards the WebExtensions framework. The data in this catalog is sourced from publicly available platforms such as AMO, Wayback Machine, and other open internet directories and archives, with cloud storage graciously provided by the Waterfox Project. The add-on has been tested and is compatible with a range of browsers, including Basilisk RC1+, Firefox ESR 45-52, Firefox 45-58b, Pale Moon 27+, SeaMonkey 2.40+, and Waterfox 55+. To use this add-on with the Firefox release or beta version, users will need to disable the extensions signing requirement. However, it is important to note that the add-on does not support multi-process mode (e10s)
