What is Classic mode for Wikipedia?

This Firefox extension restores the classic Wikipedia interface, allowing users to automatically view Wikipedia pages and articles in their previous layout format. Regardless of whether users have a Wikipedia account, this add-on will redirect them to the classic version of the site, reverting the changes made in January 2023. Additionally, the extension works across various Wikimedia projects, including Wikimedia Commons, Wiktionary, Wikisource, Wikidata, and MediaWiki, while leaving Nostalgia Wikipedia untouched. Importantly, this add-on is non-commercial and respects user privacy, as it does not retrieve or send any data. The source code is publicly available on Github, enabling users to report bugs, suggest improvements, or even contribute directly to the project
