The game immerses players in a captivating narrative that unfolds in the aftermath of World War I. Veteran Patrick Galloway receives a distressed letter from his friend Jeremiah Covenant, who recounts a terrifying curse that has ravaged his family. Galloway travels to the Covenant estate in Ireland, where he learns of the Covenant siblings' fateful encounter with an ancient occult book and a ritual performed at a set of standing stones. This ritual has unleashed a powerful demonic presence, the Undying King, whose malevolent forces have reanimated the deceased Covenant siblings as monstrous entities. As the sole survivor, Jeremiah begs Galloway to stop the curse before it claims him as well.
