What is CmisSync?

Securely synchronizes files and folders with an organization's on-premise or private cloud file server. Unlike popular public cloud storage services, CmisSync works directly with an enterprise's existing file management system without the need for an internet connection. CmisSync integrates with a variety of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms that comply with the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard, including Alfresco, Documentum, FileNet, SharePoint, Nuxeo, NemakiWare, and eXo Platform. By syncing directly with the organization's own file server, CmisSync leverages the user account permissions already in place, ensuring employees only see the files they are authorized to access. This provides enhanced security and administrative control compared to public cloud services that store data externally. The user interface resembles that of consumer-oriented file sync tools, offering a familiar experience while providing the benefits of on-premises file management
