What is Cortex Command?

Cortex Command is a 2-dimensional side-scrolling action game that puts players in the role of a disembodied brain controlling various clones and robots to achieve their aims. The primary objective is to mine gold, which is then used to acquire new clones, weapons, and equipment to eliminate competitors. As the brain is inherently weak, players must manage their resources judiciously, safeguarding the brain, extracting gold, and fending off adversaries. A key feature of the game is the ability for players to create mods, or additions and modifications to the game, utilizing the built-in Lua programming applet and simple scripting tools
