What is Crucible?

Crucible is a collaborative code review solution that enables teams to review and comment on each other's work across a range of version control systems, including Git, SVN, Perforce, Mercurial, and CVS. With Crucible, users can review code, discuss changes, share knowledge, and identify defects in a single, centralized platform. The application supports different types of code reviews, from formal workflows to quick, informal check-ins, and allows users to assign reviews to specific team members. Threaded discussions enable users to provide feedback on entire changesets or down to individual source lines, while unified code activity views provide an overview of all commits, reviews, and comments.
