What is Cyanide?

Cyanide is a Tox client designed for the Sailfish OS platform. This application enables users to engage in one-on-one messaging, leverage DNS discovery for connecting with contacts, and receive notifications through various channels such as sound, LED, and lockscreen. Cyanide also supports features like user avatars, inline image sharing, and file transfers, though the ability to resume transfers across application restarts is not yet available. The application further provides access to message history and the option to manage multiple user profiles
