What is Cydia?
Cydia is a comprehensive Debian APT package manager that enables users to download and install a wide range of tweaks, applications, and customizations for their jailbroken iOS devices, including iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches. Accessible through most iOS jailbreaks since version 2.0, Cydia provides access to a vast ecosystem of alternative repositories, allowing users to discover and install a diverse array of content not found in the official App Store. The platform's flexibility is further enhanced by the ability to add new repositories through a simple process, expanding the available selection of packages. Notably, Cydia for iOS 11 is officially supported by the unc0ver jailbreak, and it is also compatible with iOS 12 devices. While the Cydia Store has recently been shut down, affecting access to purchases from three of the main default repositories, users can still freely download and install a wide range of free tweaks and customizations through the platform
