What is Cytus?

The Cytus mobile rhythm game series immerses players in a futuristic world where robots are the sole sentient beings, preserving the last remnants of the human spirit. In this dystopian setting, technology allows for the transfer of human memories to the robots, but with limited storage, new memories gradually overwrite the old. To prevent the loss of precious human emotions, the robots have converted these memories into music, storing them in a digital repository called Cytus. Players take on the role of these robots, interacting with the emotive melodies to experience the depth of human consciousness that still lingers within. With an anime-inspired visual style and a focus on rhythm-based gameplay, the Cytus series invites players to lose themselves in a captivating narrative as they follow the beat of these awe-inspiring Vocaloid compositions
