What is DarkAudacity?

DarkAudacity is a build/fork of the popular free sound editor Audacity, featuring a darker and more modern visual theme along with a few minor customizations. Beneath the refreshed interface, it retains the same robust audio processing engine and core functionality as Audacity. Like its predecessor, DarkAudacity is entirely free to download and use, without any trial or feature limitations. Users can record, edit, and apply effects to audio, then save their creations for a variety of purposes such as ringtones, podcasts, and more. As an open-source project, both Audacity and DarkAudacity have benefited from contributions from a community of developers who are able to access and modify the underlying source code
