What is Den.social?

den.social is a decentralized community platform where users can create and govern their own "Lairs" - spaces akin to subreddits on traditional social media. Built on the Dragonchain blockchain, this innovative social network empowers both creators and community members to engage, grow, and shape the environment to their needs. At the core of the den.social experience are the NRG (Energy) tokens, which users earn passively at a rate of 1 per hour and can utilize to participate in the platform, such as voting (1 NRG) or posting content (5 NRG). This tokenized model helps mitigate spam and rewards active involvement. Additionally, users can acquire MTR (Matter) tokens by contributing to the network through community tasks, which can then be used to temporarily boost their NRG generation rate. Finally, the LOX token enables users to vote on the creation of new Lairs and other governance decisions, fostering a decentralized and user-driven ecosystem
