What is Dia diagram editor?
Dia is a versatile, open-source diagram creation tool designed for various operating systems, including Linux, Unix, Mac OS X, and Windows. Inspired by the commercial Microsoft Office Visio software, Dia focuses on creating informal diagrams for casual use, but also supports the creation of more structured diagrams such as entity relationship diagrams, UML diagrams, flowcharts, network diagrams, and numerous other types. The program's flexibility is further enhanced by the ability to add support for new shapes through the use of simple XML files, which leverage a subset of SVG to define the shape's appearance
