What is DiffPDF?

DiffPDF is a tool that enables users to compare two PDF files. It offers two distinct comparison modes: Text and Appearance. The Text mode compares the textual content of each page, while the Appearance mode examines the visual layout and formatting of the pages. DiffPDF also provides the ability to compare specific page ranges between the two PDF files, allowing users to focus on the relevant sections. For instance, if one PDF file has 12 pages and the other has 13 pages due to an additional page inserted as page 4, the user can specify the page ranges as 1-12 for the first file and 1-3, 5-13 for the second file. This enables DiffPDF to perform a thorough comparison, pairing the corresponding pages between the two versions
