What is DircProxy?

dircproxy is an IRC proxy server that allows users to remain connected to IRC channels and view missed messages even when they are disconnected from their client. It is designed for individuals who access IRC from multiple workstations or devices but want to maintain a persistent connection. Users connect to IRC through dircproxy, which then maintains the connection to the server on their behalf. When the user is disconnected, dircproxy continues to log channel and private messages, as well as other important events. Upon reconnecting, the user can then review the logged activity that occurred during their absence
