What is Do Not Touch Your Face?

The Do Not Touch Your Face app is a web-based tool that leverages your device's webcam and machine learning technology to help you break the habit of touching your face. By training a TensorFlow.js algorithm with your webcam footage, the app can detect when you are touching your face and provide real-time alerts to remind you to keep your hands away. This aims to address the CDC's recommendation to avoid face-touching as a preventative measure against the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses. The app operates entirely locally on your device, with no personal data transmitted over the internet, ensuring privacy. While not a guaranteed solution, the app's face-touching detection and feedback mechanism can serve as a useful tool to help cultivate more mindful behaviors and complement other public health guidelines
