What is Dofus?

DOFUS is a tactical turn-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in a unique 2D isometric world. Developed and published by the French game company Ankama Games, the game was originally released solely in French but has since been translated into numerous other languages. While primarily a pay-to-play title, DOFUS also offers a limited amount of free content to players. The game's success has led to the development of various spin-off products, including books, comics, artwork, and an upcoming movie scheduled for release in 2013. Additionally, two continuations of the DOFUS universe have been created: Dofus Arena, an alternative "tournament" version released in 2006, and Wakfu, a continuation of the DOFUS storyline that is currently in beta testing
