What is Dropover?

Dropover is a utility that streamlines the management and movement of content across folders, applications, windows, and workspaces using Drag and Drop. It provides an easily accessible storage shelf for your Mac, allowing you to stash any draggable content without the need to open side-by-side windows. The shelf appears exactly when you need it, floating on top of other windows and enabling stress-free navigation to your desired destination Using Dropover is simple: Shake your cursor or hold Shift during a drag, and drop the content onto the nearby shelf. You can then move all the items at once when ready, without the hassle of opening multiple windows. The shelf offers various actions for your dragged files, including revealing, opening, and performing system actions like AirDrop, Mail, or Messages Dropover is designed for quick and efficient access, living in your menu bar and allowing you to create empty shelves, reopen previous shelves, view recent uploads, and adjust preferences. Additionally, you can directly add items to Dropover from applications using the Share Extension, restore up to 10 previously closed shelves, and list, drag, share, or delete individual drags. You can also drag your content to the menu bar to create a new shelf and invoke a new shelf using a customizable global keyboard shortcut
