What is Dungeon Gate?

In the besieged world of Barrilian, a once-prosperous land now ravaged by relentless dragon hordes, the story follows the plight of its beleaguered people. Twenty years after a small village was pillaged and burned to the ground, leaving only two infants as survivors one taken by the dragons, the other by a mysterious mage a tyrannical ruler has seized control. This vicious dictator exploits the populace, forcing them into servitude to extract precious stones from mines, which in turn enhance his own magical abilities. As the citizens are helplessly subjected to the growing power of their oppressor, a young man named Dysan emerges, poised to perhaps change the course of this devastated realm
