What is e2ee cloud?
e2ee-cloud is an open-source, self-hosted software that provides end-to-end encryption for file storage and sharing. Users can securely upload and download files directly within their web browser. All files and folders are encrypted before being uploaded to the server, and decrypted only after being downloaded, ensuring the confidentiality of user data at all times The encryption process works as follows: Prior to uploading, the user's browser encrypts the file contents and filename using AES-GCM 256-bit encryption. The encrypted data is then transmitted to the server, where it is stored in its encrypted state. When a user downloads a file, the browser automatically decrypts the content, allowing the user to access the original unencrypted file
