What is EasyRPG?

EasyRPG is a free and open-source project that provides a compatible replacement for RPG Maker 2000 and 2003. The project includes both a game interpreter, called EasyRPG Player, and an editor that is currently in development. The EasyRPG Player can play RPG Maker 2000 and 2003 games directly, without the need for the original RPGRT.exe interpreter. Additionally, the HTML5 version of the interpreter allows users to self-host their games with some configuration, and there is an online demo available on the official website. While the editor is still a work in progress, it can currently load maps and read some map and database properties, enabling users to edit games created with the original RPG Maker and play them using the EasyRPG Player
