What is Emu48?

The HP48 Emulator Emu48 is a comprehensive software tool that allows users to emulate a range of HP calculator models, including the HP38G, HP39G, HP40G, HP48SX, HP48GX, and HP49G. This emulator is designed to run on all Win32 platforms, as well as mobile devices with ARM-based CPUs, such as Pocket PC 2002, Windows Mobile 2003 (SE), 5.0, and 6 Professional versions The emulator requires users to obtain ROM images to function, which can be downloaded from various sites. Additionally, if users wish to apply patches, they must first install a complete executable package The developer, Sbastien Carlier, has worked diligently to fix numerous bugs and address various issues within the emulator. However, some emulation problems still remain. The developer has also received valuable assistance from Jean-Yves Avenard in addressing hardware-specific problems, as well as from Cyrille de Brebisson, who contributed to the initial implementation of the HP49G in the HP49 SDK
