What is FamiTracker?
FamiTracker is a free Windows application that enables users to create and produce music for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Famicom game consoles. Modeled after the MadTracker interface, the software provides an intuitive experience for those familiar with tracker-style music composition tools. A key feature of FamiTracker is its ability to export music in the NSF (Nintendo Sound Format) file format, allowing the playback of created melodies on original NES/Famicom hardware or integration into custom NES applications. The software is open-source, licensed under the GNU General Public License, and welcomes user feedback in the form of bug reports, comments, and feature suggestions
