What is FediAct?

The provided Chrome/Firefox extension simplifies interactions with Mastodon instances other than your primary account. It enables users to seamlessly follow, boost, bookmark, reply, and favorite posts on external Mastodon instances without needing to log in to those separate accounts. The extension displays the following status indicators on external posts, such as if the content has been boosted, favorited, or bookmarked. Users can execute actions with a single click, while a double-click will redirect to the content on the user's home Mastodon instance. The extension also offers the ability to hide muted content on external instances, and it is highly customizable. The extension supports all up-to-date Chromium-based browsers, including Kiwi Browser on Android, as well as the latest versions of Firefox, including Firefox Nightly on Android. It is important to note that all data processing is handled locally, and performance may vary depending on the responsiveness and rate-limiting of the user's home Mastodon instance and the external instances being accessed
