What is Flock Browser?

Flock was a web browser that integrated social networking and Web 2.0 functionality directly into its user interface. Earlier versions of Flock utilized the Gecko rendering engine from Mozilla, while later versions starting with 3.0 transitioned to the WebKit engine by way of the Chromium browser platform. The application was available as a free download for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. Support for Flock was ultimately discontinued in April 2011, at which point the developers advised users to migrate to alternative browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox
