What is Framabin?
Framabin is a free and minimalist online service that allows users to share texts in a confidential and secure manner. The service employs 256-bit AES encryption to encrypt user data, including comments, within the web browser. This encrypted data is then transmitted and stored on the service's servers, ensuring that Framabin is unable to decrypt the information. Users are the sole holders of the encryption keys, maintaining complete control over their data. The service is based on the PrivateBin software, a fork of the open-source ZeroBin project initially developed by Sbastien Sauvage. The PrivateBin and its components are distributed under a free license, enabling users to participate in the software's development, suggest improvements, or download and install the service for their own use, thereby enhancing their autonomy. Framabin requires JavaScript activation and a recent web browser, such as Firefox, Opera, Chrome, or Safari, with the use of Internet Explorer not recommended
