What is FreeOTFE?

FreeOTFE is a disk encryption software that allows users to create virtual disks, where any data written to these disks is automatically encrypted before being stored on the computer's hard drive or USB drive. It is compatible with PCs running MS Windows and Windows Mobile PDAs, and can be used in a portable mode, enabling it to be carried on a USB drive and used on any PC without installation to access the encrypted data through a virtual disk. The software provides users with the ability to create one or more "virtual memory cards" on their PDA, ensuring that any data written to these cards is securely encrypted
