What is FreeOTP?

FreeOTP is a two-factor authentication application that supports the open-source HOTP and TOTP protocols. Compatible with Android 6 and later, as well as iOS 11 and later, the app allows users to easily add tokens by scanning a QR code or manually entering the token configuration. FreeOTP does not require any proprietary server-side components, making it compatible with any standards-compliant implementation, such as FreeIPA which utilizes TOTP
