What is FreePastry?

FreePastry is an open-source implementation of Pastry, designed for deployment over the Internet. It serves as a tool for evaluating Pastry, conducting further research and development in peer-to-peer (P2P) substrates, and developing applications. The initial release of FreePastry is primarily intended for these purposes, with plans for later releases to provide a robust and fully secure implementation suitable for large-scale deployment on the Internet
