What is Freetile?

Freetile is a dynamic and responsive layout plugin for jQuery that organizes webpage content in an efficient arrangement. Unlike other similar solutions, Freetile does not require a fixed-size column grid, allowing for any size of elements to be packed without the need to specify a column width. The algorithm that evaluates each possible insertion position is easily customizable, enabling the expression of various preferences such as left or right alignment of elements or proximity between certain elements. Freetile also features a smart animation routine that distinguishes between elements that should be animated and those that should not, such as newly added or hidden elements. Special classes can be used to limit animation to specific elements
