What is Front Row?

Front Row is a versatile media center software designed for Apple's Macintosh computers and Apple TV. Its 10-foot user interface is optimized for the living room TV, enabling users to seamlessly access and enjoy a wide range of digital content. The software allows users to view and download video, photos, podcasts, and music from a variety of sources, including their computer, optical discs, local networks using iTunes or iPhoto, and the internet. Front Row's functionality is comparable to that of Windows Media Center and iTheater, and it has undergone two major revisions since its initial release in October 2005
