What is Fugio?
Fugio is a free, open source, visual programming system that enables users to create digital art and creative projects across a wide range of technologies, including Windows, OS X, and Linux (including Raspberry Pi). It is an open visual programming system designed to allow users to build projects quickly, without any prior programming experience. Fugio utilizes real-world terminology, avoiding unnecessary jargon, to ensure the knowledge gained is readily transferable. The platform encourages a "make first, learn later" approach, where users can naturally learn important programming concepts as they go, without the need to write code. Additionally, Fugio is designed with digital preservation in mind, featuring a robust, highly modular design that allows for reconfiguration or replacement of nodes without the need to rebuild the entire project from scratch. The platform aims to democratize access to technology, catering to users of all technical backgrounds, by providing a way to interact with high and low-level technologies without necessarily writing code, unless desired. Fugio is built using C++ and the Qt 5 Project, ensuring cross-platform compatibility
